yeah, its bleached out.. I've experienced that a few times already... its light shock, water shock, tank shock.. whatevers... As long as it doesn't deflate and widen its orifice while inverting it's intestines for long periods of time, then you're fine...

Once u see decade and signs of it melting, games over.. but from the picture, it looks okay.. just gotta leave it be with good flow and whatever color its supposed to be will come back in a few months...

yup, its gonna be awhile..

stop feeding it... it's okay to get some nutrients from the fish or whatever you give it, but you see how it's all wide and everything..? it's starving for light... stretching itself out as much as possible... also, when you feed a lot, you're helping it grow, but not color up... it needs algae to be healthy and colored up...

it also looks like it's on the bottom of the tank... i would raise it up a bit more, or leave the lights on a little bit lighter...

if it gets burned by the lights, it will shrivle up and hide....

its gets fed once a week and what ever floats in it after feeding, its basically at the top of the tank actually, so i guess ill just wait... its weird though it was fine for weeks and then all of a sudden it started doing the stringy thing ... oh well
