A 24 gallon tank isn't meant for anything other than nano sized fish... so unfortunately none.

It's also pretty hard to feed them if you use feeder fish in a 24 ga. The feeder fish won't like the crazy salinity and you gotta get it to hangout in front of the angler.

Yeah that's a tough fish always wanted one but just like seahorses it's a commitment to a tank with only him. Personally I think it's one of those things you will get bored of after awhile like lion fish. Cool to watch eat and swim. But if it's your dream fish just do it. But it will probably be the only fish you can have

I killed on. I read that they should be fed 2-3 times a week and another saying daily. I went with 2-3 and it died kinda skinny

a nano should be good for a smaller one, they don't move much

Yeah. You can try adding a cheap fish if you really want something else. Like a chromis would look nice and make a good meal lol

The tanks at aquarium of the pacific only have anglers in them and nothing else, I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for that! Speaking of, I just saw an angler at tongs yesterday just like the one in the above pic, red & yellow. Very cool looking fish

i had that same yellow wartskin for 6 months. I kept him in my fowlr sump and fed him fresh, partially disabled fish (chromis, mollies, goldfish). it maintained a good appetite & grew, but it made vacations hard, so I gave him away before a 3 week vacay.

He used to go freestyle swimming. Watching him angle never got old.
