So my 120 gallon has been up and running for awhile, I think I have my final stocking list that I want, in addition to what I have already have in there that was transferred from my 50 gallon that I broke down. Suggestions?

my current fish from my old system are in my qt system going through cupramine and prazipro.
( they all have been in my system for at least 8 months )
Flame hawk
Coral beauty
Yellow tang
Black clown
Snowflake clown

So I think I've narrowed it down to what else I want..
Mystery wrasse
Cleaner wrasse
Purple tang
Midas blenny
Diamond goby
Anthias trio
Powder blue or powder brown tang (getting mixed reviews on these)
And possibly one more wrasse of some sort.

All fish will be ran through a full qt before hitting the DT.

List looks good, introduce mystery wrasse last on your wrasse list and if you get a powder blue and a purple introduce them at the same time so the yellow tang spreads out his aggression between em. Hey what happened to the mystery wrasse you got from me?

Be careful with the mystery wrasse if you ever decide to get more wrasses somewhere down the line. They are said to get aggressive towards other wrasses. It would probably be a fish to add to last if you decide on more wrasses.

And I would limit the number of tangs to two for a tank that size (the purple is hardy and beautiful). Three might be a crowd. I have a yellow and purple tang and they get along just fine however. But one more might make it too crowded for the same species. I do have a regal and a moorish idol equally in size of the tangs and they do fine together, but I'm really pushing it with four large fish. I think two tangs or two large fish would be sufficient for a 120g.

Good luck! Stocking fish is the best part of a build!

I lost it to ich or velvet along with my purple tang, chevron tang, Midas blenny all within 48 hours after I introduced a Kole tang that I assume was the dirty one. That's why I am starting over this time and QT'ing everything. I caught my fish out of my DT and they are now in QT and I will be leaving the display fish less for 72 days

Yea, I most likely am going to skip on the powder blue or power brown, even though they are one of my favorite fish. I hear horror stories of them being super aggresive.

Ouch that freaking sucks, sounds like velvet... we all learn eventually though. Honestly if you are going fish less for 72 days might as well push 90. At the 72 day mark it's pretty cake to wait a little more just to be safer. Don't make my mistake though and then buy hermits or other things that are wet that can bring desease half way through the fallow period. I dumped a bunch of hermits in my tank I waited 90 days but those hermits reset the clock half way through. 10 days after introduction I saw white spots on my fish again since I was going fowlr anyways I just dumped copper in my display. I wouldn't have been able to go another 90 fish less.

Yea, I wish I could copper in the disply :( but I'm filled up with coral. It sucks but I guess it will be worth it in the long run
