I upgraded 2 V2.1 and 2 V3.b to V4.2 using upgrade kits from them.

Kit came within. Wk via DHL and the upgrade itself took about 40min/light using the online guide.

Be ready to supply your own thermal paste (easy to get on Amazon for $15), and a bowl to keep all the screws and spacers.

Upgrade went fine. Typical IT challenges on startup similar to setting up any other wireless gear (sometimes it just works, other times it takes a few tries).

In the end I ended up saving about $400/light due to the low resale value of older Gens.

Kit was about $300ea if i remember right and I paid about $350ea for the used lights.

Are you unsure where to go and what the steps are or are they failing to connect after going through all the setup steps.

If the later there's a reset button on the internal control board within the light. There should be a pin hole on the too cover to access it.

A couple of mine didn't connect on the first try to I had to restart them using the reset button with a safety pin a few times.

Was about as frustrating as setting up an Apex. Everyone else' always seems to work but mine until an hour later.hth

If it's the former, you have to connect the gateway to your home network via the app

In the app:

click on the settings wheel

In the upper left click on gateway

Select your gateway or search for it if not listed

Click back and then in the upper right click wifi

Select your network and enter your login credentials

Once wifi is connected click search. Your lights should show up. If not you're prob gonna have to reset them a few times.
