I agree to purchase the Sherman rose from him at $225 the week before Labor Day. I suppose to pick it up from him on 8/31 at night time. He called me during the day and told me he has to travel for work and will not be back until Labor Day. I told him ok cool just text me when you back in town.
On Labor Day I texted him to see if he was back in town. He called me later and told me he will be back late. I told him cool will schedule for 9/6 pickup at night. I texted him on 9/6 that I'm heading down his place. When I got there he told me the Sherman moved under the rock way at the bottom of the tank. When I got inside his house he already removed the anemone and had it in a contain. He show me the anemone while it was in the container under his light. I was like ok cool. Stay there chat with him for about 20 min about his coral and fish in his tank.
I got home and start to acclimated it to my tank water. I notice that the anemone was showing white gut coming from it mouth and that it look like the anemone was either cut or split by itself. I took a picture and texted him to asked if he cut the anemone. He called me right away and told me no. I told him it look cut and he keep telling me no so I told him I will let it settle in and check tomorrow night.
Next morning the anemone look really bad. I took a picture and texted him to give him an updated. When I got home the anemone look fine. I texted him a picture of it and told him maybe the anemone split itself when it was in his tank. He told me maybe it did and that he doesn't see the other half of the anemone in his tank. I told him that of we both agree that the anemone split and I told him that I didn't agree to buy a split anemone and that I want to return the anemone for a refund. He told me the doesn't offer guaranty on his livestock.
Sorry for the long write up.
