Hey guys here are a couple more pics. If everything goes according to plan I will be dropping this off tomorrow afternoon at the powder coater. I still have some finish work and the light setup to make but I'm going in early to try and finish up.

Hey guys I have some more pics for you. The light setup took almost as long as the stand!!! Haha but it's gunna be sweet. They are made to hold the 4 AI's. They swivel out of the way and have 12 1" spacers (6for each side) so it can be fine tuned a little.

The stand is ready to be picked up from the powder coater. I will go tomorrow and get it. Man I can hardly wait :marchmellow:
Once the stand is here things should move quickly. I am going to need some help moving my current tank across the room and put the new stand and tank in its spot. Anyone willing to help a guy out :peace:

Post your welders info so people can give him business. I wish I would have done steel then the skin.

I am jelly. You are going to need longer wires for the AI's to be mounted and swiveled etc. trip to Frys will suffice. The wires they give you are super short.

Is this gonna have a canopy?

The welder is our own Travisw30 http://www.socalireefs.com/forums/member.php?u=3192

Great guy to deal with. Even though he is a little far away you should give him a shot at building some stuff.

As far as the wires I figured I would need something longer but am waiting untill its here to see exactly what I need.
No canopy for me. They look nice But I also loike the look of an open top. Plus the wife is in the tank all the time and doesn't want a canopy in the way.
Thanks for the kind words. When it's all done you should come by and check it out

Top notch! Tell the wife that corals and fish don't like hands in the tank.

Jk, you guys are lucky, with kids and a wife the canopy is a must in my house. AI's have good spillage so it may take tinkering to not have that bug your line of sight for TV viewing, tank viewing, and angles you will be at lower levels. (rambling)
