no it cost $399.99 plus tax,and if you try to get it preorder it all sold out,at gamestop, target, toyrus,bestbuy,fry's and for the people that wait the last minute.they pay for that price.and $650 is pretty cheap,I see people on craiglist sell one for $800,and on ebay for $900.

Again we get into the subject of ripping people off and letting people by what they want to buy for the price they want to buy for. If someone wants to pay 600, 800, then they are the idiots.

I wouldn't take advantage of people but ultimately it's the person making the purchase's fault

People will pay above retail just to be the first few who have it. I dont see it as ripping people off. If he invested his $399 for it a few months ago knowing that he could make some money off of it then why not. This happens all the time with many things, iphones, xbox, even some car dealers do this. My brother was trying to buy a subaru brz and when we went to the dealer they had it marked up $5,000 over msrp just because the demand for it was so high.

I dont even see a need for it ar this time. The better resolution is useless unless you have a 4K capable set; likewise if you have even a mildly stocked game library, none of the games can be played on the ps4

this happens EVERY time a new console is released... plan on it, if you didnt pre order, youre Fd. thats why people buy em up, and just like they said above, theyll be selling on ebay for $600-1k until xmas is over. dont hate the player hate the game

I flipped some Wii U's when they dropped. I was willing to wait in line and people were willing to pay. On a side note... WalMart does free layaway even on systems. You can hold one and have 2 months to pay it off. Cray

Honestly? If someone did the do diligence and preordered one or a few why would they sell it for retail price when people would offer $600-$900? Just because you don't have a business name doesn't mean you can't practice good business for yourself. Supply and Demand its the law of economics.
