I am upgrading to a 75 gallon rimless and looking for advice regarding power heads and wave makers. Cannot afford the vortecs, so please do not recommend them although I would love to get them. Considering getting a couple of Koralia evolution 1050 and the Koralia smart wave pump controller. Any thought or other recommendations that will not bankrupt me?

I just got a 70 rimless, I am going to wait for the Jebao wp25's to come out and see if I can get 2 in there. That's as cheap as it gets

Thanks for the input. Had not heard of the Jebaos. After looking at several sites they seem very promising. Any suggestions of which 40 or 25 or how many for a 75 gallon?

I have never seen them in action. But most people are saying the 40 is crazy strong. I was thinking 2 25s because they look more compact and think they would be perfect on opposite ends on the tank.

From what I can find on line the 25's won't be out for a couple of weeks. Where are you planning to get them from?

Hey I just purchased a jebo wp40 has it in the tank for 3 days so far. It is AMAZING!! My tank is a 36x24x18 67g. It creates amazing waves. Almost tipping out water, but the waves are amazing. The price on it is perfect too! Would buy this pump in a heartbeat again.

Ya the wp40 turned to like 50-60% in a dimmer type thing will give you plenty of wide flow and wave action. Great buy for the price. But I would wait and buy two of the wp25's that are gonna come out, cause you want random flow in a reef tank.

Ya and since we have rimless tanks spreading out the flow would be better. To much flow in one spot might spill water over the rim
