Puffer expert, pls chime in on this golden stellatus puffer

I've had a number of puffers in the past, and never once came across this kind. Is it rare?

Yeah me too..I believe I had one once in the past...whats your issue with him?

Most of mine I fed whole shrimp cut up or krill..real big eaters

try looking up starry puffer. I belive its the same. didn't recognize the name but the puffer looks familiar

Coz of the yellow mask and yellow spots. Thought the ones I've seen in the past were more black and white than yellow.

Haha. No issue with him. Just trying to decide whether or not to get him.

Was yours aggressive with other fish?

As I recall no he was very docile towards anything else like invisible to the other fish. I had purchased mine from someone who had him for years. So who knows at first

oh wow..mine was no where near that size. I bet they get far more aggressive as they get bigger.
