Good luck, that is one of the hardest fish to QT specially when medication because they sometimes stop eating. Tried a few but they are just hard I have up after I tried 3. But in my experience the smaller ones tend to start eating faster.

Im 0-2 with this fish with my QT regimen which is usually TTM and prazipro. Both were eating frozen, pellets, and flakes. Both actually had Ich also but they disappeared during TTM.

Another factor is both were also Indo.

After additional research, it looks that red sea or maldives angel are hardier than indo ones so I would look at those.

Sorry, I didnt really help address your concerns about QT'ing your fish. I live too far anyway. :)
