nems do grow on trees... every LFS i go to has a couple... well, maybe because you're like... way down there... and we're like... way up here... but still... i would trade it...

I would suggest that you move it to a quarantine tank until it heals after you cut it....if it does die,at least it wouldn't wreak your system,but I've read that people do it all the time,I'd be afraid to myself....mine just split on it's own

I Chopped IT!
After I took it off the rock, i let it sit for three days to heal(if necessary).
Then I chopped it on (3/14)
2 of them are fully healed, the others are almost done.
Mission Accomplished!

he already diced it up... my nems all split after a while... i think it depends on flow... if the flow is too high, it won't get gigantor... well, that's what it did in my tank... after it split, it walked around and stung all kinds of chalices... fail...

When a nem splits in a tank for any other reason than being jack lolaine'd in a powerhead, it's because of stress... so it doesn't exactly give you bragging rights haha..
