Just noticed that my wrasse was laying on the sand bed all bent out of shape. He seemed fine all day swimming at his usual pace and eating normally as well.

I tested my water param and everything was norm. Only thing recently that I've done to the tank was add in an flame angel and a clown but they stay on the other side of the tank.

Any suggestions?

He is definitely one of my most active fish, its just that when I see a fish lying on the sand bed with their fins pent up like that I tend to worry...

Breathing rapidly? How long have you had him? Was the flame and clown QT'd before adding? I know flames are known carriers for disease.

when my melanarus sleeps in the sand then is suddenly disturbed they kind of sleep walk and sometimes bumps into a corner breathing fast. Maybe one of your rocks shifted while they slept? any digging animals in your tank?
