Red Sea 90S Light connection issues.

Hey everyone. I just want your opinion on this. So I'm having Wi-Fi connection issues on my light they keep losing connections every two days or so. I've made sure its not my home connection because everything in my home is hardwire and I have roughly 5-6 devices connected to my Wi-Fi network and 3 of them is actually the lights and the wave pump. I contacted Age of Aquarium in long beach because that's where I purchase them and they told me to contact customer support. Of course the answer I get is "my network is the issue". Which I explain to him that it isn't because my home provider is 1Gigabit connection and I run a wifi mesh and my router and modem is equip to handle that speed not to mention my cisco switch that I use to handle on my cable drop. I also provided the red sea support with all my specs and screen shots of my whole home network and stats. With that being said I enjoy the red sea product but after customer services not doing anything about it and blaming it on my network I feel like I just wasted close to a grand if not over a grand on both of these lights and it has not been a month old yet. Has anyone experience bad issues with Red Sea support before?

It’s a known issue. I believe it has to do with which network bandwidth frequency it’s connected to 2.4 or 5. It can also be the ac card inside and your network router is ax.

I don’t think it’s my network because I have two light and my other one has no issue. Also my whole house is hard wire with cat5e and I only have 4 connection that are on my wireless network. Three of them is Red Sea products. I figure I rule out my home network since I’m running 1giga bit speed plus 99% of all my device is connected to my Cisco switch. I also supply the Red Sea rep with all my info and screen shot. So now basically he has “to escalate it to tier 2 support”.

Just got an email this morning and they will replace the light in having issue with.
