thank you for your input. my skimmer was opened up all the way and i directed most of my water to the backup drain. this way oxygen still getting mixed up i hope the cyano is gone

yeah...... forgot to fix my reactor. broke it when cleaning it. them red and white reactor are not built so well as the aqua max reactor. ill put a bead of weld on when i get home. add some carbon. grrrrrr...... thanks for the reminder.

so i checked my tank yesterday, everything is cool. even the cyano. added carbon adjusted the skimmer. now what. im going to do a double dose this time after the wc.

Yea water change but u don't have to. I take it all the cyano is not gone. If so do another dose and u can double it. I have even done triple dose and no water changes before and no Ill effects. The problem is that when ur done with the treatment the akimmer will nuts for a while. But large wc will fix that. Also dose bac at night. The more the better that will help.

i have the powder stuff from broyd. i have been cursed with cyano. should i keep my lights off.
