red or pink..? does it have mouths...? or like, intake and outlets in any parts of their body or form...? is it slimey, does it fall apart easily, does it shrink when you touch it..???

i have the same thing. i dont like it. it will pop up around your tank in time. im not sure but maybe a urchin would eat it. i really want to rid myself of it too.

that stuff is nasty, I had it in my last tank. Only thing I found that ate it were turbo snails. Weird too, cuz alot of other people have not had luck with turbos and that algae. but the particular turbos I had loved the stuff. otherwise look out, it spreads fast and takes over, in a bad way....
