Anyone else think RAP was sub par? 5 times I have been, twice in Ontario. Just seems like:
1. Everyone wants to put a "designer name " on corals and what not and charge a fortune for them.

2. Vendors hardly had any samples, swag bag sucked. I remember getting media reactors, frozen food ( pick up later ) and what not in previous RAP

3. Selection was crap

4. Not alot of dry goods for sale
5. WAY TO CROWDED!!! need a bigger venue....
Is it me? Or does anyone else feel the same?

Coming from someone who sold, ppl did not want to buy unless it had a name. This includes things like clams. Many ppl asked if we had any named clams.

dry good vendors come to talk and get feedback from customers, or do in person customer service. Only locals like seaside will be selling.

I heard from the earlier ppl that the swag was pretty good, but i guess thats subjective, media reactors was a one time thing, don't see that happening again.

Crowded is good, means vendors will come again. If it was dead, i would really consider not selling at the show next year.

I'm not saying I didn't find anything good or didn't enjoy myself. Just saying it was mediocre, nothing new livestock wise , that you can't get locally. I know mostly local sellers.
My biggest thing is the crowd. A bigger venue would of been alot nicer. For me personally it's hard to be in crowds anymore, with the personal space invasion and bumping etc. I even showed up an hour early in the hopes it wouldnt be so bad....lol
I guess maybe it's just me

I think since the indo ban there hasn’t been much new things come in. But did you see that purple monster shroom it glowed.
I thought the show was busy this year especially on Sunday. Door prizes are usually donated by vendors so that will vary. Parking was fine if you made it in early. At least the parking was cheaper then ubering in just you had to come early or it be full.

I thought there was a huge selection of frags from all the vendors, and a good selection of vendors. You could find any frags from high-end to low-end.

The only thing I don't like about that show is the parking, but there isn't much you can do about that.
I think parking was less this year than last. I had to pay 26 bucks on Friday, because there was no promotion on set up day. Happy for the 10 on sat and Sunday.

I thought it was a good show. You’re always gonna have over priced frags but I shopped around and found some nice deals. Most of the guys are willing to haggle a bit. I also thought marine depot’s wheel was cool and brs with a tee shirt and $25 gift card for getting a few stamps.

Did you notice that the gift cards were only good till yesterday? That sucked. I had to put in a quick order before going to bed. Then I tried to use the 5 gift cards that my family collected and could only use one per transaction.

The last 2 hours of both days are fairly dead. FYI for future reference.
