My blue Maxima clam is attached to a very large rock. I know that you don't want to pull them off because it can damage their foot... is there any safe way you can remove them or should I just take it with me on the rock on my long drive?

I wouldn't try to remove him from the rock. Maybe you can chisel the large rock down to a smaller size so it will be easier to transport? If not I would just take the whole rock.

I don't want to destroy this rock... it's covered in zoas and other stuff and it's a really cool rock. I added pictures. I will definitely be taking the rock with me because I'm taking all rocks and I will be taking more of this particular rock as I will be a few others as well better covered and suck these are corals that I can't remove, I was just thinking that I would have friends hold the clam with my other more sensitive corals I wouldn't want to risk taking the clam off and injuring it.
