I have only ever used d-d h2ocean Mg pro salt mix. I can not find this salt anywhere atm (example: marine depot is out of stock since Feb and says it will be at least 2 more months if ever back in stock). so I need a new salt that mixes closely to how the H2Ocean does. I do not dose anything, and do not plan to in the heavy lps system I have, so please don't suggest that route. is there a chart on here or elsewhere that shows how salts compare? maybe I searched wrong.... or just didn't look to much yet if being honest.

I'm not to fond of the idea, but it would seem if I mixed redsea (regular) and redsea coral pro 50/50 I SHOULD get about the same Kh and CA as the H2Ocean.

any help appreciated. thanks in advance

I would go with the Red Sea pro, since you’re not dosing & I believe both d&d & Red Sea are made in the same facility last I heard, don’t quote me on that. I would also check tropic Marin, do some research on them & see if you like their synthetic salt. I switched to tropic Marin because of their sale pitch of producing a higher kh than the rest & so far I’ve noticed more stability in that area. Hope it helps.

I second the Red Sea Coral Pro- I have been using it for 7 years no issues. I used to run H2Ocean and NSW before that.
