Sand price more expensive now?

So I notice the sand from some LFS is about $30-35 for 20LBS? Is that the current market price? I thought they are usually about $18-20 before, damn things get pretty expensive now.

Yeah the price for everything has gone up due to shipping/Covid. Some stores have increased prices hugely. I would suggest online as my stores have become way too expensive. Although I love to support all my LFS, when I find B-ionic for 50$ for one 2 gallon bottle of alk and it is 35$ online for both a alk and cal.

This is just like the Hawaii fish "ban". They are still being collected by existing licenses in Hawaii and exported, but due to supply and demand they are now 150$ per fish or more.
