are boring, but cool!
plopped 2 in my tank, and they sat on the sand for about 30 seconds, then they just sank straight down into the sand... didn't see a bit of movement out of them, except the small one... the end of one of his arms was on a rock... it kind of slid down a bit as he disappeared... looked like I had set them on quicksand

How long have you had the star and the goby? I have looked into both of them and hear mixed reports. A lot of people say they starve to death pretty quickly. DO you do spot feed them at all?

i had one for a long time in my biocube untill a hot summer day killed him. i just got a new one for my new tank today. i love how they move around. you will see in a few days that they do move and are out every few hours or so. i like them. i never really target feed him, i tryied but he just moved the wrong way.

as for the nassarius sails... i have one and i NEVER see him. he is very big and i dont know how he stays alive really but he has made it for about a year now without any target feeding. from time to time he will rise from the dead and that looks very cool when he does that. i have seen him come up and steal food from my scoly once! now i also have the small ones too and i have to say that i like the small ones better. i think that its a different kind because they stay small. those little guys are so cute to watch. they remind me of off road buggies running around in the sand. lol. you can always spot them because they stick the little smelling tube up from under the sand. put food in and watch them come to life.
