So the reason forums put rules like this in place to to stop the boards from looking like Craigslist, OfferUp, or FB marketplace. The whole reason of forums is to share info and help each other further our hobby.
But more and more these days people just wanna be the next frag star millionaire. Those people can either pay for a sponsorship on forums or stick to marketplaces where it made for selling or create there own web site.
But we should be respectful to the members that are here to help each other.

There is nothing wrong with doing so, lots just have no posts and post a clearly recently purchased x for sale/quick flip. They simply contribute nothing. It’s fairly easy to distinguish. Meaningful posts are not, “ cool, looks good, bump, glws,...”
