He really takes care of his customers!

I bought an oxygen tank from Craigslist and couldn't get it filled because it's a medical tank and also apparently the tank is expired. Dan's gonna rent me a tank for a great price and he's also gonna let me borrow the suction cup things with handles to make moving the big tank easier.

Awesome customer service! Thanks Dan!!!

Feel guilty that I encouraged you to buy from CL :(

W.
Don't feel guilty! It's not your fault. I should've checked things out better but I didn't realize that I should be checking any of that. I knew that you had to have a prescription to fill an oxygen tank for medical use but I didn't know that you couldn't take a medical tank to a welding supply place and get it filled. In fact, the guy I bought the tank from told me that you just have to tell them what you're using it for so they know that you aren't using it to build a bomb or something. I had no idea that the actual tanks expire either!

I knew that cylinders need certification but assumed that the ones on CL were full or part full :(

Still feel bad...

You can renew the tank though, just gotta send it in to get hydroed. I do it for my paintball gun tanks. Same deal for scuba tanks.

Yeah I found that out but that doesn't help me cuz I need it now. And also the fact that they won't fill it being that it's a medical tank.

yep but I'm going to have to wait until I have more time when I get to Louisiana to post it so don't get any ideas about how you all of the sudden need a used oxygen tank and I have the perfect one! Lol

It's a very good store. They installed an overflow box into my 75 g acryllic tank recently. The big reef tank in the store is amazing. Huge clam!
