I got a Starcki Damsel from Eric [MENTION=10248]CoralsAddiction[/MENTION] and he's doing great in my QT. He's a beautiful fish but I'm a little worried about it being aggressive just because it's a damsel. At some point, I'd like to add a pair of Rhomboids to the tank. Would you add him?

That's assuming I'd be able to get a rhomboid though QT. It'd definitely my unicorn fish.

They are not that hard. Pretty easy to get to eat. I did lose mine because he scratched his eye on my nano, that noob.

Don't you have a purple tang and a powder blue? I can't imagine the new damsel being more aggressive than those two. These damsels don't go and chase down their victims to death. They couldn't even stand their ground against my Blenny. Worst case scenario they pick a little spot near rock and let other fishes know they aren't welcome. I doubt you will have a problem in your 150.

Some wrasses are tough to QT. Had a Pintail and Rhomboid die on me in QT before. Now I try to buy them established when possible. Also, many Rhomboids sold as pairs that I have seen are actually two males, one being a terminal male and the other in transition. True females are very pale in color, I don't like them. Good chance they turn male anyway.

sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some do better in reefs than in QT. That just how fish are.
