So I've got my saltwater mixing now and planning to move my old sump out and replace it with my new larger one. I won't be using any of the sand in my fuge, just the rock that's in there now and the macro algae. Does anyone have any tips to make this a smooth swap? I'm thinking it should be just like a big water change or am I forgetting something

Thats one sweet sump n skimmer combo. Sounds like you have all bases covered. Just swap out equipment rock and macro and put new one in place with newly added water and you should be good to go

It's pretty big for sure. The Skimmer is a monster. I can't wait to turn that bad boy on

I would but tonight I am doing my own switch out myself from rk to apex.
Are you sure??? I'm setting up my table again. We had it torn down to put in the new floors. They are putting it back up now. Then its time to throw a few back.

Stopped dead in my tracks. Got everything ready, water mixed, all my plumbing parts out and towels ready. Started looking for my hole saw so I could cut the new bulkhead hole and its nowhere to be found. Idk what happened to it. Its not where I normally keep it but the house and garage have been all tore up since we put the floors all in so it might have got placed somewhere else. I'll pick one up tomorrow and post my progress. I guess I'll have to play some pool
