it could potentially be an investment for a breeder, but with the reactions of many people, it is evident that its not a pretty fish to most. so the question would be is that would people buy these later on down the road because they are rare, or because they look interesting?
Different folks have different tastes. It always shocks me how many people prefer powder brown tangs over powder blue :confused: I mean...it's brown.... But hey, to each their own.

My issue with them is they appear to be, judging by the pics of the breeding pairs in that thread I linked to, the type of clown that gets rather muddy and dull looking in captivity (like so many chrysopterus, tomatoes, and such)....

My B&W with yellow fin clowns are way better. I wouldn't pay $20 for it . It is not about rarity but my personal taste.
