water temp

hello to all, my water temp fluctuates a couple of degrees over night. is this normal? i have a heater, no chiller.

within 4' change over a 24 hour period is normal and fine. I don't run a heater or chiller

As long as it just a couple degrees gradually, I wouldn't be worried. You definitely don't want it dropping more then a couple degrees though, especially not rapidly.

what is a good temperature your tank should be at? some say 78 or 79.

Wow, that is very interesting. I now know what the limits are when it come to high temperature. thx for the information.
