I have a red sea alk test and didn't really like it... Can't even sell the kit for 10 bucks... Lol

Red sea looks really complicated, not to mention expensive. Salifert is pretty straight forward and gives you accurate results for $20-30.

Alk is really easy to test tho. I also have Salifert but havent tried it yet

Finally tackled the stinky plumbing! That was RANK!!! Cut it all off.. Flipped it , glued new elbow into the bulkhead with a slip neck screw glued to that. This way I can unscrew and clean the ball valve / hose. Hopefully the little bit of water collected before ball valve won't stink! Still looking for a plug to put inside the tank in the slip 3/4 " bulkhead. Prob need a rubber stopper of some kind?

Empty my water changing tank as the rio pumps explode and messed up my water 😩
I hope that the 20 gallons that was introduce to my tank wont create havok.

Mon:
Rescue two giant gouramis and community fish from Montclair and Glendora. Bring home and acclimate.

Tue:
Water change 75g cuban tank.

Tested and dosed Calc and Alk for 60g reef.

Wed:
Water changes for 240g monster fish tank and 75g planted community tank.

Changed return pump to Sicce 2.0 and added Phosban 150 reactor to 60g reef.
