What is my diamond Goby doing?

I have a super active diamond goby in my small reef tank and he is busy pulling rocks from the other side of the tank and putting them around a plant that I have. His "home" is about 10" away, so he is not fixing up a driveway. Any ideas? He also likes to carry the snails and small hermit crabs from the sand up to the rocks.

yeah they are like engineers....they will destroy anything you are trying to do if they dont like it....just got to deal with it or give him the boot. I like them but wont have another for that reason
