Who’s going to RAP (Reefapalooza) this year?

I am just always so excited for RAP, it’s just so much fun seeing all the reefers I may not have seen since the previous year, the hustle and bustle of getting the show dialed in to make it the best experience for the attendees (I volunteer as much as I can), I look forward to it every year but unfortunately, I have a conflict this year and can’t make it

Anyways, if you go, let me know how it was so Ican have some vicarious enjoyment, photos please! I hear from more than one person, this may be the last year of RAP at a hotel, that maybe it will be returning to the fair grounds. Parking would be a lot easier but I sure would miss the way it is now.

There’s tons of great vendors. I’ve bought several pieces of Jesus corals and his prices are reasonable for the most part. Also, Will at Coral Nerds is awesome and always has the goods.

I will be there probably Saturday. @NickleCheese Depending on what your looking for. Defugium has some nice higher end pieces. I bought some from him at CFM and will probably get one or 2 more pieces at RAP.

I'll go never miss it. I don't think they will be going back to the fair grounds though the vendors like having the hotel close. Did something change?

This has always been a great show for years. It is great to see so many reefing friends that I may only see once or twice a year. I have volunteered and worked for a few companies during these shows and have had a great time.
This year the show may be different on what the vendors present in their booths as MACNA was cancelled and now a last-minute show in Chattanooga. When this decision was made to cancel the MACNA show CoralVue decided to make this event our 2024 product release event. In the past new products were only shown at the MACNA event. Now this year in Anaheim all of the locals get to see the new products as they are being launched. This is great stuff if you are an equipment junkie and like to learn about new products.
I also think with the world getting back to normal people are not as afraid to cross paths with people from other circles and such.
I will see everyone there and please stop by the CoralVue booth and say hello.

Im looking for higher end SPS. And its hard for me with lots of vendors.

I have been Chatting with Defugium and this is what he told me.

So far the higher end ones I’ll have is both angry birds Rrc and rru, acropalandia, marti gra, I think it’s from arc but not 100% it’s called pink lighting basically a rainbow tenuis that’s mainly pink, psycho asylum, vivids insanity, a bunch more that’s just off the top of my head my lights come on in about an hour.

I got a RRC AB from him at CFM and a BK Lasermelon. May grab a Acrolandia at RAP from him also.
