I'm looking to add some sps to my new tank. I only kept lps in my old tank and now I want to give sps a shot. That being said, if anyone has any brightly colored, cheap, sps frags that want to sell let me know. Im not looking for high end stuff yet because I want to make sure I can have some success with it first.

Do you have a doser or cal reactor yet? One thing I've learned to keep SPS successfully is the easy / lazy way won't cut it. You'll need to monitor your cal alk and mag and supplement accordingly. Most likely daily to keep your parameters stable.

I would suggest to start with a birdsnest or digi.

I seriously appreciate the help guys. If you've seen my recent posts, you've seen I'm battling ich and lost my mystery wrase, sailfin tang, purple tang and chevron tang all within 48 hours. Kinda bummed about dumping so much money on fish only to lose most of them. So I'm going to be running the tank fallow for awhile and just stick to coral. Learned my lesson and now have a quarantine tank set up. Responding to pms now.

No reactor or doser, but I am OCD on testing and water changes. Test 1-2 times minimum weekly, 30 gal water change weekly with Red Sea coral pro salt (match temp and salinity) and dose everything else acordiningly. Tank is running an apex as well as a chiller so there are no temp swings.
