Its been a long time since Ive been to any LFS in San Diego..

the owner of octopuss garden keeps on saying he is going to close the shop.
Ron has been saying that he is going to close the store for years now. I have been going to OG for probably 3 years and he is still there so don't think he is really going anywhere anytime soon but who knows. AquaSD for sure has the best high end coral selection in town and now with his new fish system he is getting more of an assortment of fish at a steady flow, oh, he also has a pretty big $10 frag tank as well :D. PK is still going strong as they not only have the s/w to keep them afloat. AW is still going but the coral selection has not been as good as it has been in the past. VP is a nice little store in El Cajon that has a very friendly staff and will not sell you a fish unless it is eating in their system. Chris is very good at selecting out healthy livestock at the wholesalers.

+1... We'll see what happens next year when the lease is supposed to end for OG...

Any other suggestions? Going to be in SD in 2 weeks for a long weekend with my girlfriend. I'm planning on hitting Aqua SD and Aquatica. We're in the early planning stages of doing a big semi-in-wall and she's concerned about the aesthetic aspect of it, so I'm glad she'll get to see Aquatica.

I recommend aquatica. One of the nicest stores I've been in. I posted up pics of aquatica a while ago
