Over the past few days I've noticed polyps from several different zoa colonies floating around the bottom of the tank. Some of them are closed and some are open and seem happy on the floor. But what would be causing them to detach from the rest of their colonies like they are???

I don't think it's too much flow cuz it's happening with zoas in all different parts of the tank, some are higher flow and some are lower.

how are all your other corals doing? any changes in the tank
Most are doing great but I lost a lobo last week and my war coral looks like something is eating it in a few spots. All my params are in line and stable except I did have a drop in alk about 3 weeks ago and had to increase my dosing accordingly. My acros and birdsnests are doing well and growing. Montis don't seem too happy but they haven't been happy in my tank since the move.

I think it's a virus or infection. I have a colony of people eaters that are doing the same thing. I tried dipping in revive and that was not successful. I would try a furan 2 treatment.
