I don't know if I can do two durso's, have you seen the way that Lee-Mar makes their overflow? smaller than normal, in any case, pvc is cheap, I will try all of them...
I have a 225g leemar with one overflow trust me it takes a few attempts to get it perfect. I made a big thread on ideas to lower my water too. About 5 months ago.

Also sometimes it loud cause the water falls to far before draining. I can take a picture later of you'd like.

If I an get it right with one overflow, you can do
It easily.

I also use a flex vacuum style hose for the water to drain into my sump at the height I want. I don't like the water fall sound in my living room.

Ok, I re-plumbed it, sounds better, also went with the stockman pipe (Thanks, ReefPlanet!)...got a bio-pellet reactor (I don't think it's tumbling enough, it's being pushed by a nano Tunze by the skimmer) Got a mangroves (never had them --> how do I root them?), pods, and a cleanup crew from reefcleaners.org...I think half may be dead...I added a pyramid butterfly and a midas blenny a few days ago, they are eating and happy...I also added a few zoa colonies...nitrates are at 20-ish...how long should I wait to put more fish? SPS? I want to add about 4 peppermint shrimp, 2 or 3 cleaner shrimp, and 2 or 3 fire shrimp next...what do you think?

I have the Tunzes both on static all the way down and the Koralias are not in. I have an Apex and would like to have the Tunzes on one at a time ramping up to full speed while the Koralias take their turns...
I really want to eliminate dead spots as I have aquascaped to do so, I have sort of 5 small aquascapes separate, leaving room for flow and I thought enough height to keep a good looking sand bed...
My question is how do I aim the powerheads, I feel like with such a large tank (for me) I shouldn't have sand blowing everywhere...any suggestions? this is what I have now: The returns are aimed directly at the side glass above the Tunzes, the Tunzes are aimed at the opposite corner, and I will prob put the Koralias under the flow accelerators directed towards the front glass...any suggestions? thanks in advance!

Yes, I went with Sfiligoi but mine is custom made 5 XP-G 3w LED Modules and 4 T5 80w with 3w XP-E RGB LEDs.

ReefPlanet, Would you go with this?

anyone else have a suggestion for lighting? I need to make a decision quickly here...I don't want to have to replace (8) 60" T5 bulbs every 9 months but if my SPS won't grow without it, I will...

what does 5 XP-G 3w/3w XP-E RGB LED Modules mean? I'm sorry but I don't know much about LEDs...
Also, are the fans loud? I have spent a lot of time into keeping everything as slient as possible, not to say I wouldn't put up w any noise for a great fixture but noise is a factor for me...

Here is the 3 LED modules in the middle with 8x80w T5.

LED Dimmable via 0-10v DC Interface or PWM signal.
T5 Dimmable option via 0-10v DC Interface.

Here is the 5 LED Modules in the middle with 4x80w T5 (the price is more expensive than the 3 LED Modules).

how do I root/take care of mangroves? I saw that they get salt on them and I have seen misters on them, I'm thinking of putting two pumps in my auto top off, one for misters to be on the first 3 min or so of every hour and the 2nd for the rest of the time...anyone do that before? Thanks again!

red mangroves are known to be excluders... meaning they do an efficient job keeping salts out... but yes, misting is ideal and suggested minimum, twice a day.. but do that when it finally has rooted and sprouted leaves...

you need to find some means to keep it upright and stationed... Like planting it into a sand bed or using Styrofoam to keep it in one place and floating.. ideally half of its body above the water level....

I use rubber bands w/ wooden skewers to prop mine upright and situate them in the sand bed...

I'm a HUGE believer in refugium and naturalistic aquariums... so there's like ~70 sprouted mangroves in this refugium, 200 pounds of live rock, and two-basketball size chaeto......

it supports a single 15 gallon reef/frag tank... hahahaha......
