Big thanks to Tdog (Juan) for having it powder coated and doing me a favor of taking and bringing it back to his home. Awesome work! Didn't find any defects on the job and highly recommended.

And a thanks to my friend Kenny for my bulbs he is one of the best reefers I have meet.

really like the way those LED fit into the channel.

couldn't figure out a clean way to install the T5s in there.. :( i'm still trying to figure out how to deal with it on my own light.

i'm trying to figure out how the hell i'm gonna fit my setup.

your's is 22", i think i'm gonna have to go to 24, and even then, it'll barely fit.

the reefbreeder type lights are 1" wider than the ecotech, and i've got to add another 3" for the LED stripe.. >_<

Can't you raise the t5 with bracket to flush then use black acrylic or 2-3"crown moulding or square aluminum to cover from eye sight. Crown moulding would give off the floating suspended look.Possibly place computer fan to cool .....

on a serious note, i won't weld suspension, and won't teach you to weld it because that's got safety involved, and i don't trust my 120v mig to have sufficient penetration to make a strong weld (i'm assuming the plates are at least 1/4").

welding is fun though. i have an oxy ace torch that people can come and learn to weld if you want. it's the best way to learn to weld, because you can actually see what you're doing, and it's slow enough that you learn to control the puddle.. :)
