cost of "entry level" mig welder = low to high hundreds
cost of "entry level" tig welder = DOES NOT COMPUTE

it's a HUGE investment to get a tig welder. I loved it when my friend had one. he spent 300 bucks just on the cable alone to run the 220 from the panel to the garage.
