I'm on the 8th day now, 2 survivors, they both look really good and are starting to eat. I don't think I can tell the color yet, they have not meta'd. I'm curious, will they look like mom, dad or the mailman.

11th day, one survivor. removed 5 gallons and added 10 gallons to the tank of fresh water. and a quart more of Roti. I had hoped for a better survival rate, but considering I was unprepared it could have been worse. It is starting to swim like a clown, so maybe it will make it to the meta phase

I heard that too, I am curious to see how this turns out. I'm just hoping he makes it until he is a little bigger, it will be fun to see him grow.

The female is super huge right now, I can't believe she has not burst at the seams. Had a minor issue with the heaters today and the water dropped on my main tank, slowly warming it up now. I'm hoping by morning it will be back to 79 (dropped to 75.6)

Day 12, still kicking. This is starting to look like one of those **** new baby posts on Facebook. You know the one where your cousin has a kid and every day they post updates, eventually you want to unfriend them because frankly, you can't tell the difference from day 1. I tired to take some pictures, but nothing turned out good. He is starting to show some color, dark brown.

So only one survived?

As of this morning, yes just one still alive. I didn't plan for this so I was pretty unprepared to raise them, when my clowns lay eggs again I think I should get a better ratio. The female is huge, hoping she is going to put down another nest soon.

Ok, day 15 now and he starting to swim like a clown, and he looks much bigger today. I tried to take a picture, but none turned out. He has changed color and is like a burnt orange right now. wife wants a man tank and will put him on her desk at the office. Kinda of a bring your kids to work thing.

glad to help, i wish I would have done some reading before they hatched, I would have saved a lot more. So my wife is going a little crazy and wants a nano tank for "jr" ...but I know her she is also going to want to put other stuff in there, she still whines about the baby clam we lost. I can see the clown, a clam, a nem and maybe a shirmp or two....but it can't be too big. Seriously, how am I suppose to make that work.
