So I'm thinking of upgrading my lights. At the moment I have two kessil 360WE. I am trying to go mix reef. Sps like acro or any of the easier sps. What would you do. My tank is a cadlights 30" x 18" x 36" with a corner over flow box.

Does anyone have experience with this light with growth and color of corals? WWC has a tank with these lights and the sps look amazing!

Yea please I need the advice before I pull the trigger on buying one. I like kessil tech. The shimmer is good n well the cater to agriculture which probably means they know what they doing.

My sps were all entrusting and coloring up with just the g4 pros before I broke it down for a new setup. But will definitely be using them again once my new tank is ready. I also have 8 bulb ATI fixture I won't be using because of the g4s

If the G4 pro are like the G3 pro you will like them. I saw the Kessil and it's a little too much disco for me but the Radion looks more like MH shimmy. ask newe70

Never owned a radion just kessil. My tank is not small so I don't think I'll need more than one unit.

What settings were you using to get the best color and growth? Also how high off the water were the lights? Thanks for the input!

I had it on a custom slow ramp up and slow ramp down over 12 hours. I tweaked it according to the colors I liked seeing in my tank. I didn't go with any of the presets although I did setup some radions for a friend and put it on full growth and his tank is thriving

Highest setting was at 50% and on 100% it's super bright. I'll hopefully have my tank up and running by the end of January and I'll be able to give you good pics and maybe even par readings

I had Kessils, Hydras and Hydra 52s and now G4 Pros. Very pleased with the new gen of the Radion so far. Color is much better. These G4 Pros are so much nicer than my old 52s. My sps are growing well and very well. I would recommended this G4 Pro. U are more than welcome to swim by to check them out.

The G4s are much more that they are cracked up to be. The spread alone is awesome, they completely illuminate your tank with great color blending. There is little to no dark spots now with their new lenses. They lost a little par but nobody really needs it unless they are running a deep tank. They did though increase the par in the 420nm which is a blessing. Its a great light and I have nothing negative to say about it except its a bit pricey.

So I got the radion gen 4 (thank you CoralNerd) I'm trying to figure out how to fix this rainbow effect. Anyone have a template of their light set up from their EcoSmart. https://vimeo.com/198119310

Try the AB+ program in the Coral Lab section. I started using it, and my corals have never looked better. Been about 3-4 months now and some corals that were "Okay" before are now showing some new and much better color

Did it make the rainbow effect go away?
