Here is what my tank looks like with radions 4 gen non pro. I will try to live with the rainbow part. Other than that the light is awesome. I just ordered my aptesia x to kill them. Thank you everyone for your input.

My shop is at Tustin & Chapman (Classic Window Tinting ) and my House is at Chapman & Lewis next to The block of Orange I have a 70 Cadlights Sps tank
I'm by Albertacos on glassell. You got pics or a link to check out your tank. If I know anyone that needs a tint I'll send them your way.

2 XR15 Pro with dual T5s coming on Monday
Gen 4? The T5 should diffuse the color spotting. I owned kessils so I'm adjusting to the change. That's my only con but everything else is superb. I like that night mode since my tank is in my room lol.

Mine are Gen 3 I liked the shimmer from the Kessils but the Radions grow coral better so you'll appreciate that I'm hoping the T5s help with shadowing

I saw a brs video https://youtu.be/V7XLgLiA0PM 34:00 min states this will help with that. I'm gonna test it out. My first two sps got revived under my 360WE but the pop of the colors aren't there like with the radion.

What template are you using? Only thing I don't like is the shimmer effect. Takes the natural look away. Other than that the light is awesome. Btw awesome tank

christian7144 Unfortunately, the disco effect is a product of the LED puck/lens design on the Radion. You can reduce it by reducing the amount of surface agitation in the water or by turning down the reds and greens which are the most difficult colors to blend. The effect will be similar on the pro model. However, having a warm white channel may reduce the use of the independent red channel, so it may help ease color banding since it's easier to mix. This is the reason I skipped out on the Radion altogether. I fell in love with Radium bulbs when I started the hobby and the Kessil is the closest looking thing to it.

Yes kessil has a natural look IMO. On the YouTube videos I saw of the radion the shimmer looked good. There is a shimmer but not the natural look with colors spots but I heard that a set of T5 will reduce it. I'm gonna give these lights a try n see how my corals do. I like to colors on radions n like the natural look of the kessil. The ap700 might be to big for my tank n will prob get light spillage Cus my tank is 30" long. correct me if I'm wrong but the lights on ap700 are 12" apart. Decisions decisions. I got two weeks to figure this out before I'm buried in text books

I believe the AP 700 is around 22-24" in length of the fixture. You would have to lower the light to reduce the light spillage, but I think it would be feasible.
