Aubrey's (my 3 year old) fish Cari had some cotton fuzzy white stuff growing on her fins and a grey wart bubble near her tail. I've been worried about it infecting the other fish. Gonna set up my UV sterilizer soon. In the mean time I picked up another cleaner wrasse to replace the two I lost and he has cleaned up Cari quit a bit... she only has a bit of cotton fin left and the grey blister is gone... awesome!

Nice build you got going there, Terry. I really like the design of that sump. Who's the maker of the sump?
Thanks jeffrey! Good to see you still reefing. I had AA build the sump to spec. They did a good job but there was a leak on one internal baffle. I was bummed, but they sent a tech out to a field repair to make it right. I like the eurobracing for splash containment and I like being able to drill holes for adding hoses, valves, etc later. I already added a hole for CA rx effluent needle valve.
That's really cool, both are definitely in love. :) All those swimming room.
That's what I thought at first... See next post
That was awesome. Coolest thing I've seen all day.
The family got a kick out of it for sure. Weirdest thing I've seen.
oh man the video was awesome
Thanks Vu, had to capture it to share with you guys.

So it turns out the two former tank mates loving embrace turned ugly... They weren't whispering sweet nothing, they were trying to bite each others ears off! Tigger & Trix hate each other and were getting vicious! Tigger was definitely trying to establish territorial dominance since she had been there first. Trix fought back but wasn't familiar with the tank so was at a big disadvantage. I turn off the light and Trix found a hiding spot. I let tem cool off through the night.

THe next morning my wife woke me up to come to the tank quick because they were fighting again as the lights came on. It was getting brutal so I netted Trix up and put her in the sump. Gonna let them recover and try to socially acclimate them. Any ideas? I really want them to get along...

Been a while since my last update...

I can't believe my tank is turning three years old, time sure does fly. It just means I'm getting older, ugh.. found myself with a little time to update my thread. Unfortunately I broke my leg, so getting into the tank and taking quality photos is a bit of a challenge right now.

Tank has been up and down but it is slowly maturing. The battle with algae never goes away, but corals are doing ok.

Here are some pics I took today with my old iPhone 6 and a gel filter...
