When I first got my RBTA it was a bright pink, light red. It has been almost three weeks now and it is starting to look less colorful and moving towards a more reddish brown color. Any ideas why? Any ideas on how to get the color back?

good news, bad news. the good news is that it seems to have finally settled in an ideal position on its own. bad news, today it closed up very significantly and oozed some black junk, for lack of a better word. any ideas?
