Complete nonsense, you know what happens to ecoBAK pellets as they get smaller? They're exactly the same as when larger but they're SMALLER. That's it... Also... PHA is a family of bioplastics. Saying that a product is made of PHA is like saying that your breakfast cereal contains "Grain"...

ecoBAK is patent pending and the manufacturer knows the sale of our particular compound is prohibited. More than likely you're talking about the "melt-grade" which is sold to companies to make plastic knives, forks etc. They're made in the same factory on the same equipment but not the same...

If you cut the baseplate off... I can give you the pump stand feet for free so you can have a base plate-less AS300... You could use a router and flip the skimmer upside down and cut around the cylinder body. Use the router bit that has the bearing on it, set at like 1/4 or 1/2".
