I just got the new style 300 deluxe internal, it has the long cone neck like the SM. I am very impressed with the build quality and how quiet it is. Here's the problem. I have the telescopic adjustment as high as it will go and I have the wedge pipe all the way in the closed position and water still comes out of the exit, I can't get the water level up high enough in the skimmer. it is sitting in 9" of water, does anybody have any suggestions and with the wedge pipe turned all the way closed shouldn't it stop the water from exiting coompletely? Thanks
Did you adjust the nozzle on the venturi? Full in- then counterclockwise untill the dots line up the first time.

yep did that, also uncrewed it to increase water intake and still can't get the water level up. I talked to Albert at Proline and he is sending the info along with some pictures I gave him to Klaus from Royal Exclusive. I will post the findings, the only thing I can figure at this point is the wedge pipe was machined a little too small so it can't restrict the water enough.

I'm the first reefer to have the Bubble King in Orange county.....I've had a BK300 external that ship from Germany, now I have Supermarine 250 BK. I love it and they are so quite, easy maintenance. If you can affort it go ahead order it from Tom it's worth the money. LOL

I beg to differ lol!:aetsch:

Aquafrags, I run a Warner Marine AS-200 and I have had it... Impossible to dial in and the microbubbles are horrible. My sump looks like a jacuzzi.

the bottom of the standpipe must not be sitting flush to the bottom of the tee on the body. If you have the wedge pipe all the way close it should overflow instantly.

it might have an issue the way it was milled, or piece of platsic may be in the output. Is the gasket in place, on the bottom of the standpipe?
