Shout out to Advanced Acrylics for getting this beast done so quickly!

Almost there!!! I’m gonna try to get it wet this week with tap water. The plan is to run it for a week and throw in 5 lbs of citric acid on Friday then scrub and clean on Saturday. After that I can start filling it back up with RODI.

Hit a snag on the return. I didn’t realize how close the returns are to the corner so my plans didn’t work. I wanted a T with locline on each side and random flow generators. Can’t get the locline on with this design

Plan b is to go with these

Anyone ever use these 3 way?

I’m going to try and fill the tank today for a leak test and cleaning. Has anyone ever use this in their tank?

I’m concerned that if the return pump looses power, the whole tank will drain into the sump.

looking great so far. You may consider a lil bit of foam under the sump to help with the temp swings. My concrete is super cold 6 months of the year

I have not used that product, but I have used this. It is non toxic and safe for drinking water supplies.

Why not put a swing check valve in your return line? Or is that your drain?

The garage is temp controlled because that’s where I grow my phyto and pods. I’m not too worried about temp swings. I did put 1/2 inch foam board under it though because @Lespaulplayer73 ; made a case for stress relief on the joints and no pressure points under it.

Because check valve eventually fail. Even the y valves have failed me. What has worked for me 100% is drilling a small hole on the return to break the siphon

Now I'm looking at it, that's a pretty long span on that stand. Might want to check with a stand builder just in case if you need a center post.
