I'm not debating the effectiveness of these scrubbers, but could you possibly post some pics of tanks that are algae free because of these scrubbers. Thanks in advance, and this has been a neat thread to follow.

That is a pistol shrimp, seen that species many times. His right claw is the "pistol".

+1 on that! Everything on/in my tank is great....it's my lack of discipline, and inability to overcome impulses to buy coral and fish that I drool over constantly making me live check to check! aqulove

sounds like you're off to a good start with a 90 cube, that's a great size tank that should make the learning curve a little less harsh (imo). If you ever make it down to Oceanside lmk, I love hanging out with other reefers!
