Sorry I meant they have two claws but only one is big.

I bought a purple reef lobster from reefs2go for really cheap, but the purple lobster is spiney this guy is has no spines. Red body with a stripe down the back and blue legs

That is a pistol shrimp, seen that species many times. His right claw is the "pistol".

Wow biggest pistol shrimp I've seen! He must be 6 inches... When I got him he couldn't have been more than 2 inches and that was only 4 months ago! I thought he might still be in there because one day I almost got grabbed by a huge claw coming out of the rock haha and then I didn't see it again

I have a tiger pistol shrimp about 3" and it sounds like the glass cracked when he clamps his big claw shut

I have never heard it actually and I have listened for it especially when I first got him.. I know the picture doesn't show it very well but I'm pretty sure the claw are equal size
