Thanks, I am also thinking about a Tomini (orange fin) tang, but they are known to be aggressive. My pruple tang is really beautiful, i dont want him to get beat up :)

I have one Purple Tang, and want to add other tangs. I hear that they may fight. What is the best approach to add more. I want to add a yellow (or two), a blue, and a sohol. There are plenty of places to hide. And plenty of algae to eat.

I have been running the new skimmer for a few days now. What a difference. It is removing tons of crud, and I have never seen my water so clear. It was well worth the investment.

So, i ended up getting a rs-80 euroreef, which is working out very well. it is much easier to adust (you dont have to reach into the sump). So far, i like it much better. And it is easier to empty.

Mine is just hard to regulate. It will be working fine, and then suddently start producing so much foam it fills the top and overflows out of the air hole on top. Then i adjust it and it either completely stops producing bubbles, or overflows again. It seems that sometimes you cant adjust it...

Anyone know anything about this LFS in Huntington Beach. Have been there a few times but not bought anything. They never talk to you, and none of the fish or coral are priced, so you have to ask how much each one is.

The tank is made by AllGlass, the stand is from Oceanic. Ammonia is now at 0, nitrite at 1 ppm and nitrates at 40 ppm. It is getting there.
