    I dosed hydrogen peroxide. 1ml per 10 gallons of tank water and did a 3 day black out. The peroxide stsryed working arriving day 3. I continued the peroxide for a total of 7 days. It worked for me.

    I should have stated that prior to the wc I replaced all filters on the RoODI. Let it run for about 25 min. Was reading 0 TDS. The only thing I did not replace was the DI Resin. Now that you mention it my 55 gallon mixing drum was not cleaned very well from the prior water changes.

    Thanks for the information. I may just go get some premix or rodi from my lfs and do my wc with that for a bit to see if that helps.

    A very small percent of the sandbed got disturbed due to an increase in flow. I let the rodi run for about 10min prior to using the water. I do not see any air bubbles trapped in the stringy algae. Will this situation rectify itself with weekly water changes?

    I changed my RODI filters and did a WC and the next day this algae appeared? Are these diatoms? And why did they happen after doing a wc?
