These are by far the most social turtles I have ever dropped in. They jumped in and came right back to the top to eat. They also have no interest in the fish and are swimming and resting right along with the rest of the turtles. Check out these videos of their first time checking out the island and pond

A little musk turtle lovin is in the air? Since I put the new male musk in there earlier in the week the female has no left it alone. It literally follows the male everywhere and anytime the male stops swimming the female forces herself underneath him. I can't stop laughing at how much she is just begging to be a mommy lol Noah you raised a very frisky turtle lol

Lol I'm still hunting for two more nice hybrids. I actually got another hybrid in the front now it's white, burgundy purple and yellow and red center...but still need one more in the back and one more in front.

My lotus just started to bloom. Lost one of the 3 Lily pads over the winter. It was the most shallow one so maybe too cold. So hunting for a nice one with nice looking lotus. I have that yellow one and a purple one so want a different one.

the growers had some nice hybrids again.. they had one that gave them dark dark red dinnerplate sized blooms... i kill those, so i didn't pick one up...

Have you been there recently? I got the mango moon and the white one from there. They had another really deep purple one with 9"+ blooms but the blooms were just too dark for what I was looking for but they were crazy nice. Very deep defined color and HUGE blooms

i went a couple weeks ago looking for a certain rose bush.. but, picked up a bunch of fuschia's for my neighbor... he wanted to make hanging baskets and stuffs... i'm going back in about two weeks... i need filler plants for my yard... like geraniums and elephant ear stuffs... LOL...


edit: the one i saw was probably the same one you saw... like dark burgundy blooms... glossy flowers...
