Yo jay, cant tell from the pics...where is the seating/bbq area?
we just started building it Saturday...leveling dirt and creating second tier in the yard. Work continues tomorrow on that. In addition if you don't count the bridge there is actually 9 Seats around the pond currently (boulders benches and boulder seats), also the edging on the upper pond is sturdy and can hold 6-8 people and bridge can hold 5+ people on each side

Really cool build.

I was wondering... where your water fall is at the corner of your backyard, is all the dirt and rocks, etc piled against the wall between you and your neighbors? Did you add a retaining wall or similar in between?

In the old 60/80g pond I had about 500 guppies easily with 4 monster koi and they never touched them. I think it's just too small of a meal for them to put the effort, although I'm sure if they are hungry enough they would

Also I built the walls with lots of small nooks and crannies for smaller fish and inverts to hide. In addition to that all the plants that are going and pick up he should hide in the root systems and branches

turtles are going to chew on them guppies, plants and koi... only turtles i trust with fish are blue terapin, and other non evil turtles...

but the guppies are fine with giant koi.. i had huge koi and a bunch of mosquito fish... as long as they are fed, they'll be fine...
