Let go all of the lady bugs and lacewing last week. Had tons of them all over the wet rocks of the waterfall and plants next day still and still see a lot now. That night I had to catch a few and get them out of the house lol. No mantis yet but I check everyday
hahaha, and I thought all of them will fly away to your neighbor's house haha

Found the coolest thing while installing my new air pump and running all 3 airlines today.

I was starting to do spring cleaning as you can see in this bucket:

And found that apparently all the dragonfly nymphs I have been finding swimming around all over the pond are finally morphing into dragonflies and crawling out. I was banging around this papyrus branch like crazy and didn't even realizes it was right there. It didn't even move. Luckily it didn't bite me, I have heard they have one hell of a bite.

Either way I'm super happy because all the wasp started coming back one at a time over the past few weeks. So these guys once they are airborne should be able to knock a few of them out.

Holy smokes Jason. I was just there this Wednesday and picked up a bunch of goodies from you for my tank. Great job on the pond. I'm now debating if I want to build one myself.

Apparently they have shed their final shell, and have taken flight. I found several of these dragonfly shells this week.

Apparently we have an escapee. This lone turtle made his way down below to the big pond. Decided to sunbathe on the high ground of e big waterfall.

Forgot to post pics but we added a big boy air pump to help out the beneficial bacteria and fish in the pond. Added a stone to each of the 3 ponds.

As I was sitting out here my daily hummingbird came back for a drink. Before this pond I had never seen a hummingbird sit still. This one comes everyday on a schedule 430-445pm for a drink from the upper waterfall. Check out the video https://vimeo.com/162909213

Few of the mantis were out today right on the waters edge too. Glad to still be able to see these guys back here.
